Established by Shaun Daugherty in 2006, Fusion Performance and Fitness has earned a reputation for excellence and determination in helping clients achieve their goals. Shaun has his B.S. degree in Exercise Science; is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through NSCA; and is a certified personal trainer through ACE. Most recently, Shaun became the first certified Combine360 trainer in the state of Tennessee. Shaun strives to be the best in his field and is always educating himself on the most current and relevant topics related to physical fitness and nutrition.

In 2008, Shaun was a finalist in The Tennessean’s Toast of Music City Best Personal Trainer award and was awarded Nashville Scene’s Best of Nashville Best Personal Trainer award.

Fusion personalizes nutritional plans and customizes fitness programs to suit each client’s goals and schedule. In addition to the popular Fusion FIRE and Fusion SPARK boot camps, which are small and large group sessions held in various parks and indoor locations around the Middle Tennessee area, Shaun and his team also offer one-on-one personal training. This tailored approach allows for flexibility and creativity for trainers and clients alike, and ultimately leads to a challenging and fun workout.

In addition to working with adults, Shaun has always loved working with youth athletes. Since 2006, Shaun has worked with high school sports teams as a strength and conditioning coach. With his new Combine360 certification, he has access to a unique measurement system to assess each athlete’s abilities both on and off the field. Starting in Summer 2011, Shaun and his Fusion team will be holding Combine360 events to assess youth athletes, as well as high school athletes, and arm them with the tools to help them achieve their sports and nutritional goals.
